How About We… Not.

Online Dating At Its Finest

First Dates

I’d like to “report a concern” 😂

Divorce Registries

I totally agree with the sender of this text. We definitely need divorce registries to make up for all the crap we go thru as divorcees. I would have some Manolo Blahniks for sure! What would you have if you could have a divorce party with a registry? Let’s get this trend started people!

A Strange, New World.

Hey you. Yes, anyone that’s single and reading this right now. Do not place your value in someone that isn’t worthy. Most of the people dating online are successful and hardworking, but just don’t have the time it takes to really make a relationship work. However, we have conditioned ourselves to think that it’s acceptable to have these pseudo “situationships”. Stop it. Remember what dating used to be like before all the dating apps? Remember when you used to find someone and vie for their attention? Now you have the attention of many pseudo “relationships”. Is it all worth it? Are we really going to find a life partner this way?

The answer to this question is, maybe. It’s only going to happen when both people meet with equally acceptable timing and have the same goals. If you set your expectations up front and are clear I think you could have a relationship that can blossom into something else. It takes honesty and integrity, something rare these days.

Comment with your opinions in the section, below:

The way to a man’s heart?

It has been said, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. However, I think this is a little excessive. I’ve experienced douchiness to the nth degree but this takes the cake. Have you experienced something similar with dating? Ladies, please always remember that you are the prize- he is not. He needs you more than you need him:

But really…

Later discovered that this guy (and no his real name is not Esteban) is an alcoholic. He set his family’s building on fire a few months after this text. So, it was definitely a bullet dodged.

How About We Not

This site is brought to you by my amazing friends whom have encouraged me to write a book or blog about my five year history in the dating world. Honestly, I started this journey  after my divorce with high hopes that I would finally meet my soul mate. To date, I am the most jaded out of all of my friends. I attribute this jade to constantly getting my hopes up and let down nearly immediately. I’m not sure why but I continue to put myself out there. I’ve “turned on the entertainment button” probably 90% of the time and have come up with a quite interesting screen shot collection of online dating profiles, messages and videos. I hope my tragic dating life becomes entertaining for you. Feel free to submit your own stories and screen shots to info@howaboutwenot.com
